Programs for the Building Envelope
Building envelope product manufacturers can employ the Keystone Quality Assurance Program to demonstrate compliance with the third party inspection requirements of the Florida Product Approval Program and other building codes, and the Keystone StarGuardTM Certification Program can be employed to qualify roofing products for the ENERGY STAR® program and other utility/tax rebate programs.
The Keystone Quality Assurance Program is accredited
by the International Accreditation Service (IAS), is officially recognized by
the Florida State Building Commission for demonstrating compliance with the
third-party quality assurance requirements of the Florida State Product
Approval Rule 9N-3 (formerly 9B-72).
Keystone's StarGuardTM Energy Performance Certification Program was developed to help manufacturers meet the 2011 ENERGY STAR® certification requirements. As an EPA recognized Certification Body (CB), Keystone can help roof coating manufacturers and coil coaters navigate these new requirements and qualify roofing products for the ENERGY STAR® program.
The Keystone Manufacturer's Laboratory Recognition Program enables StarGuardTM Program participants to employ their own "first party" laboratories to complete ENERGY STAR® product qualification testing.
