ENERGY STAR® Certification Programs
Keystone is a leading EPA-Recognized Certification Body (CB) working to qualify a wide range of products for listing in the ENERGY STAR® program.
Keystone is a National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) licensed Inspection Agency (IA). The NFRC Certification Program offers fenestration (window and door) manufacturers a third party verified, nationally-recognized method for demonstrating product U Factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) and other energy performance characteristics.
Keystone's StarGuardTM Energy Performance Certification Programs qualify a variety of products for the EPA's ENERGY STAR® Program, including:

- Home Electronics
- IT Equipment
- Commercial Food Service Equipment
The Keystone Manufacturer's Laboratory Recognition Program enables StarGuardTM Program participants to employ their own "first party" laboratories to complete qualification and verification testing.
Keystone's EPA recognized Thermal Insulation Certification Program was developed to qualify building envelope insulation manufacturers and their products for the Seal and Insulate with ENERGY STAR® Program. Keystone can help insulation product manufacturers navigate the new requirements effective May 23, 2012.
