Deadline for Commercial Hot Food Holding Cabinet products to be ENERGY STAR qualified by certification to the version 2.0 of the Product Specification. All products ENERGY STAR listed based on qualification to the Version 1.1 of the standard will removed on this date.

Deadline for Set Top Box products to be ENERGY STAR qualified by certification to the version 3.0 of the Product Specification for Set Top Boxes. The effective date for qualification to version 4.0 of this standard is 7/1/2013.

EPA announced a postponement of the ENERGY STAR Luminaires specification version 1.1 effective date, from 10/1/2011 to 4/1/2012. Extending the deadline allows the EPA to provide additional support to enable CBs and Program Partners to qualifying a wide variety of lighting products. All new Residential Light Fixture and Solid State Lighting Luminaire product qualifications must be certified to Version 1.1 after 9/15/2011.

EPA announced the effective date for the ENERGY STAR Residential Ceiling/Vent Fan specification version 3.0 has been moved from 10/1/2011 to 4/1/2012. All new qualifications must be certified to Version 3.0 after 9/15/2011.
